(Free topic) Transantiago in my life

Well, this time I’ll talk about my problems with public transport.

We can’t deny that our public transport have very big troubles with frequency of services, amount of people, information of routes, etc. We always hear/read that, but…what it means in my daily live?

First at all, I live in a place of city which is rounded for three big avenues (Tobalaba, Departamental and La Florida). It suppose that I should have many options to travel around the city. WRONG! In fact, I have just one bus that “works” until 11 and half P.M….after that, I have no options to back home.

In the other side, when I can take a bus, it’s so uncertain how long I’ll be in my destiny. I mean, that sometimes the same travel, at the same time, could take double of the “normal” time. In fact, to the university it usually takes 25-30 minutes; but sometimes it takes 1:20 to 1:40 hour. Then, I always have big troubles when I have to arrange a meeting.

Currently, all this situation, keep me away from a good friend, because I can't go to the other side of the city without waste 3 hours. I mean, all this affect my personal life and how I make my days.

I'm Giovanni and this is my english blog, for the english lessons.

About me? I'm 24 yrs and I'm studying History...but I'm not living in a library. In fact, I'm a weird kind of guys, who enjoy spend lot of time training rugby, go outside to the country side; with my camera, my music and a very big bag of dreams.

Ambitions

Today we have to talk about our ambitions. In my case, this is a very difficult matter, because I have many of them and I'm hard-working to realize each one. In this time, I'll talk about my sports ambitions.
I guess that "I'm a sportman", because I really love play rugby and go outside trekking. I'd like to win 2nd division's tournament, with my rugby team; in fact, on 2013 we reached two finals of it, but we lost both in a very tight matches; and, on 2014, we had an unusual season with many injured players, frustrating all our posibilities in the finals. For this season, I hope to reach both finals, trying to do my best work for the team.
For me, this is a very special season because we was training all the holyday's summer, and now, when we have to prepare our matches, we feel more reliable with ourselves. Apart of that, I was designated captain, then I have a very big responsibility over my shoulders, because I have to inspire my friends and team mates. Then, if we win the tournament, we will see the results of a long hard time of work...I'm sure that we will win it!
Talking about trekking, I'm a so enthusiastic walker and I'm living trying to go everywhere on my own. One day, I'll go in a long trip, just with my equipment. This is a kind of life that I'd love to have, just living and getting in touch with many differents realities. In the future, when I'll finish my career, I hope to have enought saved money to do it.
As you see, both ambitions are incompatible...and I'm sure that I'll add many more :D
